Visit Norwich and the Montshire Museum of Science

The Montshire Museum of Science, located in Norwich, Vermont, has been teaching people about science, nature, and technology since 1974. The museum sits on 110 acres alongside the beautiful Connecticut River. Those who come and visit the museum, no matter their age, will have a good time. Montshire offers activities both inside and outside of the museum. People who come to the museum love all of the hands-on activities that it offers. Guests will find a number of different areas in the museum ( Air & Weather, Astronomy, Light & Vision, Live Animals, Math, Mechanics & Motion, Natural History & the Environment, Sound, and Water & Flow), each with their own hands-on activities. The museum also has a Crime Lab Exhibit that allows kids to examine a fictional crime scene, look for clues, and nab a suspect. It’s great fun, and it allows them to learn about a very intriguing area of science. Besides the exhibits, you and the rest of the family will likely want to head out to the walking trails that cross over the property. A few of the popular trails include the Forest Trail, the Meadow, the Overlook Trail, and Ridge Trail. The Montshire Museum of Science is fun for all.
