Car Rental Discounts

When it comes to car rental discounts, I don’t know about you, but I tend to be a little skeptical.  After all, how many times have we seen advertisements saying that the car rental company is going to offer a discount, and then when we actually get to the car rental company counter, we typically end up finding out that the deal wasn’t as good as it looked?  Either we end up misunderstanding or misinterpreting the advertisement somehow or something else creeps in.  When car rental discounts are advertised on television, for example, always make sure that you read the small print (there’s usually small print!)  If you see an ad in the newspaper, look for small print.  If you are still unsure as to whether or not the deal is for real, there will usually be a number provided.  Simply call up the number and inquire.  Make sure you get the name and position of the person you spoke to as well as the date and time that you spoke to them in case there are any questions.
