A resource on conveyancing and property settlement

A recent problem with a home that I sold at auction has highlighted to me the importance of having your affairs structured correctly. A small glitch in details can result in arduous administration and wasted time on the conveyancing process. I had an issue associated with the property title which resulted in a hold up of the settlement. This had to do with the way my will was structured. I did not realize this at the time and it has resulted in delays for the finalization of the sale. Thankfully it has not gone on too long otherwise this complication could have resulted in the need for bridging finance to cover the cost of my new home.
