Our Christian Debt
On Sunday, the pastor preached about something that really stuck with me. With all of the financial problems going on in our country from the failing housing market to the governmental bailouts, we hear a lot about debt. But the pastor talked about Christian debt and what it looks like. Christian debt is our debt to Christ. Like financial debt, we forget about how our payment was made (just like people with credit cards) and we continue living our lives for ourselves. However, we must remember that Christ paid our debts, and we pretty much owe Him our lives! I had never quite thought about it like that before, but I do now.
