Recruiting Strategies: Utilize All Resources

As an employer, there are several different recruiting strategies that you will consider and even try when finding the right person to fill your job opening. One of the best things you can do is utilize all of your resources.

Place ads everywhere: newspapers, broadcasting, signs, and internet ads. Try a mixture of all of them if you want, but the main one to focus on would be the internet ads. With all of the different job boards out there, you can get responses in no time. You should also consider how long you want to keep your ads up. Two weeks is a good time frame. Don’t put your ad up more than once on the same site because you’ll just keep getting the same people applying for the job.
