Why didn’t he have Australian travel insurance?

I have an older brother who loves to travel. He only spends part of the year in the states and the rest is spent all over the world. On his last trip he neglected to take out Australian travel insurance and it turned out to be a big mistake. While he was over there he had all of his belongings stolen. He had the money in his pocket but everything else was taken from his room. If he had taken the time to get insurance to protect himself and his stuff he would have been covered for the theft. Live and learn-he always gets coverage now when he travels.
