On Wednesday night I went to the movies because I had gotten a pretty big bonus check and I was feeling pretty good. I have watched a few movies about weddings, or about people in weddings, or people who sing at weddings. Some people would say that cooking is just something that we need to do to get food in the stomach, and it is a waste of time to make a big fuss about it. That is why I have decided that I am going to learn the art of italian cooking. I love Italian, and I want to know it in way that I can use it to cook all the time. 

I really enjoy eating different foods. Lately, I have been really enjoying Thai food. I like all different Thai foods. I do not think I have had any Thai food that I did not like! I also really enjoy cooking. So, I have been looking into taking courses at a Thai culinary school. I have looked in my area and there is a school in my area that offers these types of courses. I am going to start with just one course. Then who knows? I may enjoy it so much that I decide to take some more courses and go further with it.

Dance class can be a very fun thing, have you ever tried joining a dance class? I was thinking about all the tattoos the other day on all these 18 year old girls.  You know, the ones on the lower back.  Isn’t it going to be kind of funny in 50 years when we have a whole society of grandmas walking around with back tattoos?  They look really good now, but add 50 years and gravity and its not going to be a pretty picture.  Maybe in the next 20 years tattoo removal will become a lot easier, who really knows.  For myself, I don’t have a tattoo but I am considering maybe getting one on my shoulder.

Randy put me hip to some very cool new shows this week. I’d avoided video podcasts for awhile because the early ones I saw were either somebody rambling on about tech stuff or some kid that didn’t know what he was doing.

Anyway, there are a couple of cooking shows and a show about cocktails that I really liked this time. Turns out that there’s a lot of really good stuff out there now. Randy had found this entire site with everything from travel to music shows to how-tos to some really good comedy. It’s not like all that “cute videos of my cat” stuff on YouTube.
