Smart Parts Ion & Its Performance

06 July 2008

Compared to other electropneumatic paintball guns, the Ion is quite inexpensive but its performance is not. It really will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger and once the regulator is broken in, it is quite consistent. With the right paint and barrel combinations the Smart Parts Ion can be as accurate as any gun out there and with a few improvements, its air efficiency is also quite good. The trigger is not very adjustable and the feedneck does not clamp, but both of these can be changed with upgrades. Overall, the stock Ion performs about as well as the other similarly priced mechanical guns, but it comes stock with eyes and it is so upgradeable that you can get it to compete with some of the best paintball guns available.

Learn Golf Swing Technique

27 June 2008

Learning the proper golf swing takes time. You should first learn the fundamentals of grip, posture and stance, then you can break the mechanincs down into phases. Like learning the role of the hips in the golf swing. The hips can create a lot of power and distance in your swing. Using them incorrectly will cause a massive loss of power and distance and your drives will go short and usually not straight. This is common for many amateur golfers struggling with their golf games.

Find Out More About Golf Balls

21 June 2008

If you want to write a golf ball review then you will need to try out many different brands and types of golf balls in order that you can compare them. If you are thinking of putting your finding on a website then it could be a good idea to allow people to put their own comments and/or ratings of golf balls. This means that readers will know that the reviews are unbiased and they get a wider range of opinions than if it just comes from one reviewer. You may even find that if you write to companies that make golf balls, they may let you have some samples so that you can try them out for the purposes of your review, it is well worth a try anyway!

Watch Your Backswing on Video Tape.

15 May 2008

The backswing is crucial in any golf shot. There are different approaches with each club and the distance you have to acheive. No backswing is ever the same. Each shot requires its own unique swing. One of the great ways to study your own swing is to have someone video tape you. Use several different clubs and have a friend video your shot. See is your are taking the club back straight and reaching the top of your swing with full extension. Watch to see if your hips are moving out to quickly. Study the master golfer on video tape as well. All of these techniques should be useful for you and help to improve your golf swing.

Kangaroo Conservation Center

14 May 2008

It’s hard to believe, but the State of Georgia happens to have the largest kangaroo population outside of Australia!

The Kangaroo Conservation Center in Cleveland is home to 300 made up of nine species. It’s quite a sight to see all these marsupials hopping along northern Georgia! Founders Roger and Debbie Nelson started their exotic animal farm some 24 years ago using their own money. They started with deer and antelope, but quickly fell in love with Australasian animals. Today they have a wide variety of marsupials, birds and reptiles. Some of them are quite rare.

Set on 87 acres of beautiful mountainous terrain, the Kangaroo Conservation Center is relaxing and peaceful. It offers hiking and walking trails for the more adventurous. It even has a boomerang exhibit and a fully stocked gift shop. Admission fees and gift shop sales have made the center a bit more self-sufficient over the years. You can choose between two tours – the Aussie Adventure and the Wander Down Under. The first is more comprehensive and includes a Wild Australia Show and a KangaRanger truck ride. Whatever you decide on, you’re sure to feel like you’re in the Outback!

If you are out hiking and either you or a member of your team falls and fractures a bone it is important to know the emergency first aid steps for dealing with the problem. Keno

24 April 2008

Some say Keno is like a lottery game. Others think of it as a modern bingo.

A traditional Keno game uses a glass enclosure knows as a bubble. There are 80 numbered ping- pong style balls within the bubble. Air is pushed into the bubble to mix the numbered balls. A caller top 10 poker sites draws the balls one at a time into a tube known as the rabbit ears. The 20 balls drawn are recorded and verified. A computerized system calculates wagers and the numbers drawn.

Eating Right to Lose Weight Quickly

11 April 2008

Eating Right to Lose Weight Quickly

One of the most important quick weight loss tips is to eat regularly. The single most important meal of the day, which is breakfast, should always be taken. By fueling your body in the morning, you would be able to avoid hunger pangs later in the day. The last meal of the day should be the lightest, and should be taken at least 2 hours before you sleep.

You should also incorporate fiber in your meals. The body cannot digest fiber and it only goes through the body. Fiber cuts the consumed calories by attaching to protein and fat, and takes them all away during the process of elimination.

My next metal detector

01 April 2008

I have been looking around at the newer metal detectors lately. Mine is almost twelve years old now, and while it still works, it’s starting to show its age. Sure, it still works as wel on cherry picking coins as the day I bought it, but there’s something to be said for a brand new machine, you know?

So I once again began looking for metal detectors info, and I discovered that there are two main well known contenders for the title of “best detector”. However, I happen to know a little secret: Neither of them can hold a candle to the real “best”. I’ll talk about that next time.

Would my little one like to go fly fishing with me?

31 March 2008

I think fly fishing is about the only sports that wives would approve most husband of. It is not too "Adult" like golf, not too rough like football. It is about nature and about being in the outdoor, something that would benefit the children and even have great family bonding. Take my fly fishing trip in alaska for example, I was thinking about it for so long if I should bring my family along. In the end, I brought them along and we really have a ball of time. They enjoyed the sights, the animals they saw and of course even picked up some basic fly fishing techniques.

Rally Driving experience

26 March 2008

The UK has some of the best rally driving activity days and courses from rally schools nationwide. Rally driving is completely different from any other form of driving. Imagine a sport where you are almost permanently skidding and turning at least 50 yards before each corner.Enjoy the high octane thrill of rallying during these one day and weekend rally experience days. Feel the adrenaline pump as you witness left foot braking, balancing the car through corners, perform handbrake turns and car control that will leave you breathless in the co-driver’s seat! You will be given the chance to drive a performance car yourself - typically a Subaru Impreza WRX, 200Bhp MG ZR or Mitsubishi Evo.

Fly Fishing for Trout

22 March 2008

I am an avid fly fisherman and love to fly fish for trout. There is nothing quite like the thrill of setting a fly on a smooth-running stream in the middle of summer and watching a trout rise from the depths to take it! This is the thrill of fly fishing. I used to tie all of my own flies, but as I get older, I find it easier to buy my flies and spend more time outdoors fishing. I would much rather be wading chest-deep in water, than squinting by the light of my work lamp tying a fly clamped in my vise. There is nothing quite like the feeling when you see a trout rise up and take your lure!

How to track down a perfect activity holiday

18 March 2008

To some people the term ‘activity holiday’ is an oxymoron, as they perceive holidays as a chance to rest, and relax. The thought of an activity holiday can result in visions of spending a whole week panting and trying to catch you breath, whilst scaling a mountain ridge!

This need not be the case. Activity holidays range from an easy going mountain biking break in Cornwall to a white knuckle ride white-water rafting in Nepal!

Golf Myrtle Beach

12 March 2008

I was raised in Myrtle Beach and have been surrounded by golf my entire life.  My Granddaddy and Dad are avid golfers.  My Dad tried to get my sisters and me to golf, but the golfing gene skipped a generation in our family.  Needless to say, I know a great deal about Golf Myrtle Beach.  I have watched the area grow from one that entertained seasonal golfers to one that supports year-round golfing.  There are many reasons to support year-round golf on the Grand Strand.  Let me name a few…First, there are many excellent courses in the area.  There truly is something for everyone.  Second, the weather in Myrtle Beach may be hot in the summer (Hey, it’s fun working up a sweat in the summer and being introduced to our state bird, the mosquito), but our winter is extremely mild.  Next, there are many great dining options and nightlife opportunities after a great day of golf.  As you can see, these are just a few of the many reasons you should considering visiting Myrtle Beach for you next golf vacation.

The golf industry is big business in Myrtle Beach.  The area is home to 100 golf courses.  Courses vary in design, level of difficulty, scenery, etc.  Golfers flock to Myrtle Beach year-round to enjoy the time of their lives.  Many return to replay a favorite course or to discover a new experience.  There are few places in the United States that boast such excellent golf courses at reasonable prices.  It is our mission at Golf Trek to provide you with a successful golf vacation that will be remembered for years to come.  Come golf Myrtle Beach and see for yourself.

Swords Clash as US Women’s Team Battles for Gold

08 March 2008

The United States Woman’s Sabre Team dominated the Orleans Grand Prix taking home a gold medal and placing three of their teammates among the top four female fencers internationally. This sets the stage for a potential dramatic showdown in Beijing this summer when the US team faces France’s 2nd ranked overall team and China’s Xue Tan, the current leader in world cup points.  In the individual events, the US olympic fencing team’s Sada Jacobson crossed swords with China’s Tan and defeated her earning a spot in the final match. Rebecca Ward, also on the US team, displayed her skills by defeating Russia’s Sophia Velikaia in a dramatic, come-from-behind 5-point rally earning the second spot in the final bout. She went on to defeat her teammate earning the gold medal and practically clinching the United State’s spot in the upcoming Olympics.
