I think fly fishing is about the only sports that wives would approve most husband of. It is not too "Adult" like golf, not too rough like football. It is about nature and about being in the outdoor, something that would benefit the children and even have great family bonding. Take my fly fishing trip in alaska for example, I was thinking about it for so long if I should bring my family along. In the end, I brought them along and we really have a ball of time. They enjoyed the sights, the animals they saw and of course even picked up some basic fly fishing techniques.

I am an avid fly fisherman and love to fly fish for trout. The United States Woman’s Sabre Team dominated the Orleans Grand Prix taking home a gold medal and placing three of their teammates among the top four female fencers internationally. This sets the stage for a potential dramatic showdown in Beijing this summer when the US team faces France’s 2nd ranked overall team and China’s Xue Tan, the current leader in world cup points.  In the individual events, the US olympic fencing team’s Sada Jacobson crossed swords with China’s Tan and defeated her earning a spot in the final match. Rebecca Ward, also on the US team, displayed her skills by defeating Russia’s Sophia Velikaia in a dramatic, come-from-behind 5-point rally earning the second spot in the final bout. She went on to defeat her teammate earning the gold medal and practically clinching the United State’s spot in the upcoming Olympics.

Ok, there’s something that we all need to admit: we hate it when we see little groms surfing better than us.  We’ve been surfing longer, so why aren’t we better?  The truth is that these little groms have an advantage: when you learn something at a younger age it is much easier.  This is because we haven’t set our brain into certain patterns and beliefs yet.

However, that’s not to say that you can’t improve your surfing technique by leaps and bounds.  You just need a good training program to help you.  If you can hire a surfing coach; great!  If you can’t (like most people) then it’s important to get a good guidebook to help teach you the basic fundamentals of how pro surf moves work.

If you are a wanna-be cowboy, like myself, then something you should consider, when you are looking for a saddle, is to buy one of those used saddles. There is absolutely nothing wrong at all with using a previously owned saddle. Think of it like you would a car. When it comes to what you can do with your budget you do what you can. Not to mention that many times you can get a top notch high quality saddle that might be older and has seen some miles, but if it is made with great craftsmanship and materials, then it is well worth the value.

I was traveling through Missouri and stopped at a rest stop. I went in and did my duty, when I came out I sat on the bumper of my truck to smoke a cigarette. A gentleman came up to me and asked if I knew of any Missouri tourism events going on. He went on and on explaining how he and his wife were going from state to state to see everything that each has to offer. I told him I did not keep track of such things and he seemed flabbergasted that I wouldn’t know and asked me why. Believe me, I had always thought that in order to have an adventure, I’d have to go to some far away place, like Africa, or Australian Outback! Fencing is a very exciting sport which involves high thrills. The specially designed fencing equipment makes the fencer realize the small risks involved in this game. The fencing clothes include glove, jacket, plastron, chest protector, mask, bib, knickers and shoes.
