Acid Reflux: Is Horrible

Did you know that acid reflux is caused due to abnormal reflux in the esophagus which caused mucosal damage and led to other chronic effects? Owing to the phenomenon, where digestive juices or stomach acids rise up along with the food, Gastro esophageal reflux disease is also called acid reflux. The barrier that separate the stomach from the esophagus can undergo permanent or transient changes that cause acid reflux. Dysphagia is a condition caused due to troubled swallowing, which serves as an indicator to acid reflux, apart from regurgitation and acid reflux.

Heartburns are caused due to acid reflux, when the acid touches the esophagus?s lining causing irritation of the chest and throat. Acid reflux is difficult to be detected among children, but it includes some significant symptoms like vomiting, coughing and other respiratory problems. My next post will be about, acid reflux.
