Several different kinds of vitamin E

There are several different types or kinds of vitamin E on the market today. Specifically, there are five major categories of vitamin E. They are all totally different from each other and each has it’s own properties. So let us discuss the first kind of E, and we will go into detail about the other kinds in subsequent posts. Okay, here we go: the first type is known as dl-alpha tocopheryl (notice this is spelled with a “y” at the end instead of an “o”) and is the synthetic form. This is the cheapest form to produce because it is chemical based and therefore has the largest market share.  And this chemical based vitamin comes with an unwanted price: it is the least effective form of the vitamin, and it can also cause many side effects.
