We’re growing Jalapenos
We ordered some jalapeno seeds earlier this winter and have been growing little seedlings inside for the past few weeks. I can’t wait for it to get warm enough to transplant them to our garden outside. I have a nice sunny spot picked out for them already.
Our family just loves these hot little peppers and I can’t wait to try all kinds of new fresh jalapeno recipes with our first harvest this year. I have enough little plants sitting here that we should have plenty to spice up our meals all throughout the summer and fall. I may even have enough leftover to freeze. Last year I bought a bunch of them at the farmers market and ended up freezing almost half of them before they went bad. We’ve been enjoying them in chilies and soups ever since.
