The importance of insulation
When we bought our “fixer upper” we did not realize that the insulation was pretty much gone in this old house. It was so cold and drafty during the winter and so hot in the summer. We called in a company to see how we could improve our energy usage and they told us to re-insulate the house. Now that we are finished I can say that it was money well spent. the house is cool and comfortable in the hot summer months and warm and dry during the winter time. We went with a spray foam product and it works.
