A Sixteen-Year-Old With a Secret
I’m sixteen years old, and I have a secret. I am one of the most popular kids in my school. I play the drums in the band, and am on the basketball team. I was in the last school play. Everyone thinks I have everything going for me. But what no one but my closest family knows is that I use tutoring services. You see, I just don’t get math. No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to get good grades in it on my own. So, in order to keep from losing my position on the team, I hired someone to help me. So far, it’s worked. I’ve been able to keep my grades up enough to keep playing basketball.
