Three Test Taking Skills

Here are a few test taking skills that will help you ace that next exam.

1. Do periodic reviews. The information you need to recall for the test will be more firmly in your memory if you study it and then review it after a day, a week, and just before the test.

2. Sit up straight and breath deeply. Good posture can make it easier to think clearly, as can a few deep breaths through your nose. Make both a habit during test taking.

3. Answer quickly and review later. If the test is timed it is usually better to go through quickly so you don’t leave any questions unanswered. If you finish and still have time, go back and check your answers again.
