Are Satellite TV Reviews Honest?

I would like to know some information on satellite TV reviews. Does anyone else feel as if there are two extremes in reviews? A lot of people write reviews, but there seems to be all kinds of sentiment towards the various satellite TV companies. I need to find some good places to read reviews so that I can be armed with the correct information rather than walk into a contract thinking something that is entirely false. Reviews are written by real people, so maybe they are pushed one way or the other by some unseen force? Does anyone have any input on this thought?
